Alpla Packaging South Africa is offering a 4-year apprenticeship program for six individuals to become Plastics Technicians. The program combines theoretical education with practical, on-the-job training in a global manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Production of bottles and caps on modern production machines
• Familiarization with different plastics and machine changeovers
• Ensuring smooth production processes
• Opportunity to become part of the development team for new packaging solutions worldwide after completing the apprenticeship

Qualifications

• Grade 12 / Matric with a minimum of 50% in Mathematics and Physical Science (Maths Literacy is not accepted)
• Engineering studies with relevant trade theory in N2–N3 Mechanical or Electrical
• NCV Level 2–4 related engineering studies at a TVET college
• N3 and above in engineering studies will be advantageous
• Submission of a CV with a statement of results or relevant qualifications is required
